Often students can initially enroll in a 4 years program then leave after three years and be awarded a bachelor's degree.

Undergraduate Degree in North America:.
First professional degrees sometimes contain the word Doctor but are still considered Undergraduate degree in most countries including Canada. However in the United States, most first professional degrees are considered graduate programs by the U.S. department of Education are require students to already possess an undergraduate degree before admission. These degree are not research doctorates and are therefore not equivalent to the Doctor of Philosophy. Many countries offer bachelors degrees that are equivalent to American graduate degrees. Legal Education System

Legal Education:.
Legal Education is the education of individuals who intend to become legal professionals or those who simply intend to use their law degree to some end, either related to law such as politics or academic or business. It includes:

  • First degrees in law, which may be studied at either undergraduate or graduate level depending on the country.
  • Vocational courses which prospective lawyers are required to pass in some countries before they may enter practice.
  • Higher academic degrees.
Legal Education(General)
In addition to the qualifications required to become a practicing lawyer, legal education also encompasses higher degree, such as doctorates, for more advanced academic study. In many countries other than the United States, law is an undergraduate degree. Graduates of such a program are eligible to become lawyers by passing the country's equivalent of a bar exam. In such countries, graduate programs in law enable students to embark on academic careers or become specialized in a particular area of law.
In the United States, law is a professional doctorate degree known as a Juris Doctor. Students embark upon their legal studies only after completing an undergraduate degree in some other field. The undergraduate degree can be in any field, though most American lawyers hold bachelor's degrees in the humanities and social sciences legal studies at the undergraduate level are available at a few institutions. American law school are usually an autonomous entity within a larger university.
Faculty of law is another name for a law school or school of law, the terms commonly used in the United States. This term is used in Canada, other Commonwealth countries and the rest of the world. It may be distinguishable from law school in the sense that a faculty is a subdivision of  a university on the same rank with other faculties i.e, faculty of medicine faculty of graduate studies, whereas a law school or school of law may have a more autonomous status within a university or may be totally independent status within a university or may be totally independent of any other post secondary educational institution.
In addition in some countries including Germany, the United Kingdom, Canada and some states of Australia, the final stages of  vocational legal education reuired to qualify to practice law are carried out outside the university system. The requirements for qualification as a barrister or as a solicitor are covered in those articles. See advocate for details of the requirements for qualification as an advocate in Scotland.

The children of today are different in the sense that they are future oriented, they tend to be more and more comprehensive global and universal. They attach a great value to the virtues of friendship and commitment to the relations that are rooted in impartiality , tam spirit and freedom from rigidities of conventions, dogmas and all the conflicts of ideologies that prevent free inquiry leading up to discoveries and inventions that will sub serve the ideals of mutuality and harmony. Correspondingly thee teachers of today and tomorrow have to be different. their roles have to be more stringent and multisided, devoted to the development of integrate personality wide vision of the future of nationalism and internationalism. Teachers of today and tomorrow have to be different their roles have to be more stringent and multisided devoted to the development of intergral personality wide vision of the future of nationalism and internationalism. Teachers of today and tomorrow need to have new programmes of training which will take care of new roles of the teachers and new trends of the synthesis of East and the West and as agents of change from old to the new.

Education at Crossroads:. The twentieth century has been an uniquiet age of ferment, chaos of ideas and inventions, clash of enormous forces, creation, catastrophe and dissolution amid the formidable agony and tension of the body and soul of humankind. In the 21st century we need to turn to a new orientation that we require int eh field of education.

A National Agenda for Education:.  The contemporary scene of India compels everyone to turn to education as the central key to the road to regeneration. Unfortunately our educational system is suffering from long-standing negligence and maladies and unless drastic steps are taken to bring radical and revolutionary changes, it would be futile to expect education to perform any miracle.

Education For Tomorrow:.  After centuries of experiments materialism is giving way to the pressures of new discover which require exploration of the physical and spiritual domains. It has now become clear that the knowledge of the Spirit and knowledge of Matter need to be blended and synthesized and in doing so  all that is intermediate between Spirit and Matter has all to be perfected and brought into unity in complete integration. All this has to be done both at the collective level and at the individual level, and in doing so we shall find necessary steps to develop integral Education.

Innovations in Education:.  The country needs a kind of education that is not yet being conceived, although greatest pioneers of the freedom struggle have already given us the glimpses of that education. If education has to reflect the soul of India. If India has to be protected from dogmatic or agnostic or sceptical Materialism and its barbaric invasion. Then India has to be revitalized and refashioned. We have to redesign our Education System during the next ten years.

Early Childhood Education

Early Childhood Education:.  Early childhood education is a branch of educational theory which relates to the teaching of young children up until the age of about eight, with a particular focus on education, notable in the period before start of compulsory education.

Context of Childhood Education:.
Much of the first two years of a child's life is spent in the creation of a child's first "sense of self", most children are able to differentiate between themselves and others by their second year. This is a crucial part of the child's ability to determine how they  should function in relation to other people. Early care must emphasize links to family, home culture and home language by uniquely caring for each child which is known as the key worker system.
Infant education is the education of children before they would normally enter school. The term infant is typically applied to children between the ages of 1 month and 12 months.
Early childhood education education focuses on children's learning through play, based on the research and philosophy of Jean Piaget. This belief is centered on the Power of Play. Play is a form of exercise that extends children's development. Play meets the physical, intellectual language emotional and social needs of children. Tassoni suggests that some play opportunities will develop specific individual areas of development, but many will develop several areas. Depending on the child and their interests will determine the areas of play they are good at. During free play it was seen in a setting that children enjoy playing using their imagination in many different ways. It is important practitioners promote children;s development through play by using various play activities on a daily basis.
It has been thought that children learn more efficiently and gain more knowledge through play based activities such as dramatic play art, and social games. This theory play stems children's natural curiosity and tendencies to make believe mixing in education lessons.
Researchers and early childhood educators both view the parents as an integral part of the early childhood education process. Often educators refer to parents as the child's first and best teachers.

Online Degree-Quality of Learning Online

Online Degree:. An online degree is an academic degree usually a college degree, but sometimes the term includes high school diplomas and non-degree certificate programs that can be earned primarily or entirely through the use of an internet-connected computer, rather than attending college in a traditional campus setting. Improvements in technology the increasing use of the internet worldwide, and the need for people to have flexible school schedules while they are working have led to a proliferation of online colleges that award associate bachelors, master's and doctoral degrees.

Quality of Learning Online:.
Online education enables individuals living with physical disabilities, busy full time employees, soldiers those living abroad, and stay at home parents, among others to have access to accredited higher education. The perception of the quality of online degrees compared to on campus degrees varies. While most major online colleges are regionally accredited, the public estimation of their quality is in dispute. A national survey of hiring representatives showed that a preference toward on campus degrees exists. In some instances hiring executives were unwilling to consider applicants with an online degree. Some experts argue that degrees in certain fields are more accepted online than in others while some programs are less suited for online online only schools.
A survey by the Distance Education and Training Council found that 100% of employers who responded felt that distance education program graduates performed better on the job as a result of their degree. Additionally, employers felt that an employee receiving a distance education degree compared favorably, in terms of knowledge learned, to someone with a resident degree. On the other hand The Chronicle of Higher Education reported in January 2007 on a Vault Inc. survey that found 55 percent of employers referred traditional degrees over online ones. Forty one percent however, said they would give "equal consideration to both types of degrees."
The Sloan Consortium, an organization funded by the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation to maintain and improve the quality of distance education, publishes regular reports on the state of United States distance education. In its 2006 report "Making the Grade: Online Education in the United States, 2006," it stated that "in 2003, 57 percent of academic leaders rated the learning outcomes in online education as the same or superior to those in face to face. That number is now 62 percent a small but noteworthy increase.
In some instance an online degree may be effectively indistinguishable from a degree earned in a campus based program. The instruction is often exactly the same, with the online degree offered to Columbia University students who earn a degree through the Columbia video Network versus the campus based program. The professors courses homework tests and eventual transcripts and diploma are identical to that of on campus students.

Prevalence of Online Education:.
The National Center for Education Statistics conducted a distance education study based on the 2001-2002 academic year at United States 2-year and 4-year degree-granting institutions that were eligible for U.S federal student aid. The study reported that 56 percent of institutions surveyed offered distance education courses. The study also found that public institutions were more likely to offer distance education than private institutions were.

Virtual School

Virtual School:. A virtual school or cyber-school describe an institution that teaches courses entirely or primarily through online methods. It has been suggested that a virtual school is an online learning platform offered by an educational organization whereby individuals can earn credits in the particular area of interest which can be counted toward graduation or advancement to the next grade.
Instructional Models:. There are many different virtual school instructional and enrollment models. Instructional models range from fully independent self paced courses to semester based virtual teacher facilitated courses. Class sizes range widely with anywhere from 25 students to as many as 200 students in each class section. Students keep in contact with teachers and collaborate with other students through web communication tools provided in the course delivery platforms. Student can also communicate by phone, email, and other technology communication practices with instructors. Studies have shown that the use of the telephone in communication between educator and student seems to afford some aspect of more meaningful communication as it provides more information at a personal level. However communication between parties by email has been understood to be the most critical component for online learning as it allows for the most convenient and speedy response on behalf of the parties involved. In addition to help with communication many virtual school have implemented their own system. programs to help build course and maintain student profiles. There are also a variety of books and training manuals to aid in the development of such schools and course.
Advantages and disadvantages of Virtual School:.
Advocates of virtual learning believe that virtual schools hold advantages including not being required to attend and travel to face to face classes and the integration of digital media into the curricula. virtual school also give a student the opportunity to stay in school when traditional brick and mortar schools will no longer accept them. Some reasons teen pregnancy or for other reasons that the school system may deem distracting the school system may deem distracting to the school body. Virtual schools can be considered a great equalizer as these schools can make education accessible to non traditional students. Additionally students with physical disabilities or transportation  issues may find that they are able to succeed in virtual school without the burden of getting to a physical location for school.
Schedule flexibility is another perceived advantage of online education Students who have job and family obligations which can limit the time spent in the classroom, are able to attend virtual schools at any time of day. For parents returning to school. this is an option which allows them to fit schooling into their busy schedule.

Women and Female Education System in World

Women and Female Education in World:.
Female Education and Women Education is a catch all term for a complex set of issues and debates surrounding education Primary education, secondary education, tertiary education and health education in particular for females. It includes areas of gender equality and access to education and its connection to the alleviation of poverty. Also involved are the issues of single-sex education and religious education in that the division of education along gender lines as well as religious teachings on education have been traditionally dominant and are still highly relevant in contemporary discussions of educating females as a global consideration.
While the feminist movement has certainly promoted the importance of the issues attached to female education, the discussion is wide ranging and by no means narrowly defined. Id may include for example AIDS education. Universal education meaning state provided primary and secondary education independent of gender is not yet a global norm, even if it is assumed in most developed countries. In some Western countries, Women have surpassed men at many levels of education For example, in the United States in 2005/2006, women earned 62% of associates degrees 58% of bachelors degrees, 60% of Master degrees, and 505 of Doctorates. Education for women with handicaps has also improved. In 2011 Giusi Spagnolo became the first woman with Down Syndrome to graduate College in Europe.
Improving girls education levels has been demonstrated to have clear impacts on the health and economic future of young women which in turn improves the prospects of their entire community. In the poorest countries of the world 50% of girls do not attend secondary school. Yet research shows that very extra year of school for girls increases their lifetime income by 15% improving female education and thus the earning potential of women improves the standard of living for their own children, as women invest more of their income in their families then men do. Yet many barriers to education for girls remain. In some African countries such Burkina Faso girls are unlikely to attend school for such basic reasons as a lack of private latrine facilities for girls.
Higher attendance rates of high schools and university education among women particularly in developing countries, have helped them make inroads to professional careers with better paying salaries and wages.
Education increases a woman's level of health and health awareness. Furthering women's level of education and advanced training also tends to lead to later ages of initiation of sexual activity and first intercourse, later age at first marriage, and later age at first childbirth, as well as an increased likelihood to remain single, have no children or have no formal marriage and alternatively have increasing levels of long term partnerships.
